Meet BoldMove Nation at IAAPA Expo Asia in Singapore

Brussels, 6 June 2023 - BoldMove Nation's CEO Benoit Cornet is attending this year's IAAPA Expo Asia, taking place in Singapore. Partner Triotech will be present at the show with a booth, and will display the maquette of Smash & Reload. Both companies have just opened this first interactive media ride at the French theme and animation park Le PAL, called Champi'Folies. The team also offers other solutions like WaterSlider VR and thrill walkthrough Raptor Expedition. BoldMove designs custom dark rides and walkthroughs integrating technology, IP and media, theming and overall ride and experience design.

Benoit Cornet says: "With Champi'Folies we aimed at providing an easy and non-violent gameplay, making this ride a true delight for visitors of different age groups. Grandparents and grandchildren playing together, competitive players searching for hidden clues to get the highest scoring… we made sure that the ride is totally inclusive, with fun for all skill levels. While the Smash & Reload was designed as a product, we made sure it is customisable to the specific park environment. The media contains many elements that can be dynamically adjusted to individual occasions like a birthday, an event or seasonal park activities."
The Smash & Reload dark ride can be featured in FECs, leisure venues, outlets or shopping malls, besides its mainstream clientele comprised of attraction parks, holiday resorts and zoos. The circular form of it smaller brother XXS with its centralized technology hub, allows for an easy installation, maintenance and smooth operation. The attraction can also be taken down and re-assembled at another venue for seasonal events or in between premises.
Benoit will gladly talk to any park and leisure venue owner to discuss their needs and fit Smash & Reload to their audience and environment. Besides the proprietary TooMush IP with the hilarious mushrooms, a Dalton, Marsu-themed version and other exciting IPs based on Belgian comic strip characters will become available. BoldMove also offers experience design services for custom dark rides and walkthroughs.
Fun WaterSlider VR adventure
The WaterSlider VR attraction extends the entertainment offering of parks, and gives visitors a taste of waterslide thrills. Deep Sea Party is a fun and funky WaterSlider VR attraction with tropical beach party setting and fitting music. It is ideal for families and friends visiting water, theme or holiday parks. Guests can enjoy from their life raft through VR goggles a sensational virtual ride into the depth of the ocean to experience an amazing underwater adventure. This motion & media based attraction combines physical thrills with virtual reality, seating four people and accommodating a wheelchair in a life raft. The motion driven raft is integrated in a sea container that houses all required cabling and technical components, as well as a complete light and sound system. WaterSlider VR is suitable for indoor and outdoor usage, compliant with all safety requirements.
Raptor Expedition Thrill AR Walkthrough
Raptor Expedition offers a stunning adventure to observe and discover past worlds with ancient creatures on an exotic and mysterious island. The AR Portals give access to different areas of the island where the dinosaurs can be spotted with a vizor. The creatures are overall harmless, even when you touch them... yet some can attack the visitors unexpectedly so players need to be on guard during the entire walkthrough, which includes special effects and surprises!
